The Club

Honorary President: Dr Pete Waterman, OBE, DL

The Jersey Model Railway Club was founded in 1981 and is an active club promoting all aspects of railway modelling. We have a number of layouts from Z gauge up to SM32. Please explore this site to learn more about the club and our models.

We host an annual exhibition over the August Bank Holiday weekend. Perhaps you’d like to come to Jersey to see the results of our hard work? If you are a railway modeller and would like to join us in August, we would be happy to help with your travel plans and, perhaps, you would like to help run one of our extensive layouts. We are very happy to welcome you to our club house at any time you may be here.

If you have an interest in model railways and live in Jersey, why don’t you join us? We might be able to help with ideas for your own modelling or you may have some great ideas for us. Even if you are more of an armchair modeller, the club provides a friendly atmosphere to discuss all things “Railway”.

We meet in our own club house in Trinity where we store and work on our layouts throughout the year on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7.30pm to 10.00pm.
